Funding Conditions "Creative Future" 2025 (Round 1)

1. Objectives of the Funding Program

In accordance with its statutes (§2), RIG Bautzen supports projects that promote international understanding, tolerance in all areas of culture, and the idea of intercultural exchange. The main focus is on supporting children and young people in Romania (Székelykeresztúr region), especially those from family-type homes, foster families, or involved in open youth work, as well as integrating former foster children into the community. The "Creative Future" program aims to strengthen local initiatives that operate according to the principle of "help for self-help," address local needs, and achieve a sustainable positive impact.

2. Target Group

The direct target group is children and young people (approx. 6-18 years old) in and around Székelykeresztúr. Projects specifically aimed at children and young people from child protection services (family-type homes, foster families) or promoting their integration are particularly welcome.

  • Sustainability potential of the project (e.g., continuation possibilities, local networking, resource conservation)
  • Active participation of children and young people
  • Realistic planning and budget
  • Local need and relevance
