Explanations for the "Creative Future" Online Application Form

Dear Applicants, this guide is intended to help you fill out our online application form to the best of your ability. The goal is to provide us with a clear picture of your organization and your project idea.

Section 1: Applicant Information

Name of Organisation / Initiative / Person:
Please enter the official name of your organization or initiative. If you are applying as a private individual (in cooperation with a non-profit partner), please state your full name.
Legal Form:
State the legal form (e.g., Association, Foundation, Church Community, informal initiative).
Address:
Full postal address.
Contact Person (Name, Function):
Name and function of the person responsible for queries regarding this application.
E-Mail:
Valid e-mail address of the contact person.
Phone:
Telephone number for any queries (optional, but helpful).
Bank Details (IBAN, BIC/Swift, Bank Name, Account Holder):
This information is optional in the initial application. It will be required at the latest upon funding approval for the disbursement of funds. Please ensure that the account is in the name of the applying organization or a responsible person.
Short Introduction of the Organisation/Initiative (max. 5 sentences):
Briefly describe who you are, what your main goals are, and what experience you may already have in project work.

Section 2: Project Details

Project Title:
A short, concise title for your project.
Project Start (Date) / Project End (Date):
Please state the planned start and estimated end of your project. The duration should generally not exceed 12 months.
Project Location(s):
Where will the project take place? (e.g., Kerekudvar Community House, School X, Rugonfalva, etc.)
Short Description / Project Idea (max. 10 sentences):
Summarize the core idea of your project: What do you want to do? Why is it important? What should be achieved?
What are the specific goals of the project?
Describe 2-3 main goals you want to achieve with the project. What should change for the target group or in the community?
What activities are planned?
List the main planned activities and steps for implementing your project.
Who is the exact target group (Age, Background)? How will they be reached?
Describe exactly for whom the project is intended (e.g., children aged 8-12 from family-type homes, youth from the city). How will you ensure you reach this target group? (Reference to §2 Para. 2 RIG Statutes: Support for children/youth, esp. from child protection/family-type homes, integration)
How are children/youth actively involved?
Describe how children and young people can be active participants and co-creators of the project, not just recipients.
How does the project contribute to international understanding/tolerance?
Explain, if applicable, how your project promotes mutual understanding and tolerance between different groups. (Reference to §2 Para. 1 RIG Statutes)
How is the principle "Help for Self-Help" implemented?
Show how your project empowers participants to develop their own skills and act more independently in the future. (Reference to §2 Para. 4 RIG Statutes)

Section 3: Sustainability

What should remain after funding ends (Impact, Knowledge, Structures)? Ideas for continuation?
Think beyond the funding period. What long-term effects do you hope for? Are there plans for how the activities or results can be continued or secured?
How are local resources used and partnerships integrated?
Describe if and how you use existing local resources (materials, spaces, knowledge) or collaborate with other local actors (schools, churches, associations).
How is an efficient use of funds ensured?
Briefly explain how you ensure that the funds are used economically and effectively.

Section 4: Budget

Total Project Costs (Estimate, RON):
Please provide a realistic estimate of the total costs of your project in Romanian Lei (RON).
Requested Funding Amount from RIG (RON):
State the amount you are applying for from RIG (between 2,500 and 5,000 RON).
What main costs are to be covered (short breakdown)?
List the main cost categories for which you intend to use the funding (e.g., materials, small fees/expense allowances, travel costs, share of room costs).
Are there other funding sources or own contributions?
Indicate whether you are using other funds or your own resources for the project. If yes, please briefly state the source and approximate amount.

Please confirm by ticking the box that your information is correct and that the funds will be used exclusively for the statutory purposes of RIG Bautzen e.V. and in accordance with the project application, and that applicable laws will be observed.
